Mannequins
Mannequins are a more complex form of a padded internal support for a pliable object. They are generally constructed with a rigid interior and are form fitted to the garment with polyester felts and other inert fabrics. Depending upon the garment, they are sometimes constructed with parts (such as arms) that can be removed so that the object can be safely placed and adjusted on the form. Although garments are often removed from display mannequins, they are sometimes used as a storage support.
