Custom supports

Rigid or pliable, these supports are formed to conform to the exterior or interior shape of the object and thus provide more evenly distributed support. Supports are often constructed from multiple materials including carved polyethylene, various woven and non-woven fabrics and felts. These materials are often layered to produce the desired effect. The mounts are constructed by stitching or with the use of inert adhesives. Attachment to the object is often fitted or mechanically secured via ties made from cotton twill tape, magnets, or Velcro. These supports can be mass produced or specific to an individual object or object type.
